 My Experience With The Unity Tutorial 03 When I first seen this tutorial I thought it was going to be very difficult and would take me ages. To my surprise it was pretty straight forward and took me a little under 2 hours to complete. I am actually enjoying completing the tutorials exhibit week and always look forward to what the next one will teach me about the world of game design.  I never thought I would be interested in a topic like this but it goes to show that you should never be afraid to try new things.  With this weeks tutorial I had no difficulty up until that part where we had to make the food dissapear once they went out of bounds. For some reason this just wasn't working for me. The apple just continued to fly on and on and on. I tried to fix this and look for where I went wrong but unfortunately I had no luck. I hope next week run into no complications at all.  My favourite part about this week was getting to those what environment, player, animals and food I wanted

 This weeks Unity Tutorial This weeks tutorial caused many issues for me.....I'm not going to lie to yous! The problem was that it was a carry on of last weeks tutorial. I was still trying to make last weeks one work for me as I was very very stuck. It just wasn't working for me and I was beginning to lose hope on it. I knew I was past the deadline but I wanted to still try to complete it. Anyways I went onto this weeks ready for a new challenge to find it was continuing the one I just couldn't get.  So I sat down and gave myself extra time to just start all over again. I did the tutorial again step by step and could finally move onto this weeks.  Honestly I don't even know where I was going wrong but I just took my time and got there in the end.  I was very proud of myself when I seen that I had completed the car game and it was working how it should be.  But I wasn't very proud when I moved onto part to and found myself completely lost again. First Impressions on Technology Tools and Course Websites I am very excited to that using the tools for this class. Some of them are very new to me but I am ready to learn my way around the different technology. I am sure I will become more familiar with everything as the weeks go on.  I believe many if not all of these tools will be great use to me in the future and in life after college. Almost every job involves the internet these days and it is very useful to learn what you can make and do using it.  Blogging has become a great interest to me since last semester. I enjoy writing up all my thoughts in a blog as well as reading other peoples blogs and learning new ways I can improve mine.  I am not familiar with many of the other tools but I am very excited to dive in to them.  I hope to learn more about image editing. My first impression of the class was that I really like how its run and how its graded. I like how the core assignments are split up into different parts. The makes it not boring as you have something different to do each time.  The idea of extra credit assignments really appeals to me because that means I do not have to do certain tasks I have no interest and make up the marks with extra credit. This way of learning is new to me in many ways. The first way is that the whole syllabus is already set out for me. I like that I can work on it at my own pace and even move on to the next week ahead of time. The mix and match way of grading is also new to me. I am glad that it allows me to learn in ways that are best for me.  I a

Growth Mindset I have just watched the Carol Dweck videos about growth mindset and am very interested in what she had to say. This was my first time coming across Carol Dweck but I enjoyed listening to her and will be doing further research on her by listening to more of her talks. She was very informative and her voice was very easy to listen to.  After watching the videos I thought about where I would be on the spectrum of growth-fixed mindset. I thought back to when I was in school and realised I had a very fixed mindset. I was afraid of getting things wrong and I never done any extra study when I knew I understood something. Whatever I was learning was the most of my ability and I did not further my intelligence. But, this has changed since starting college. Now I understand that the more I learn the more I grow. I am not afraid to try new things and make mistakes because I know I will always learn from my mistakes.  This made me think about how schools today really do reward intel
