Unity Tutorial 02

 This weeks Unity Tutorial

This weeks tutorial caused many issues for me.....I'm not going to lie to yous! The problem was that it was a carry on of last weeks tutorial. I was still trying to make last weeks one work for me as I was very very stuck. It just wasn't working for me and I was beginning to lose hope on it. I knew I was past the deadline but I wanted to still try to complete it.
Anyways I went onto this weeks ready for a new challenge to find it was continuing the one I just couldn't get. 
So I sat down and gave myself extra time to just start all over again. I did the tutorial again step by step and could finally move onto this weeks. 
Honestly I don't even know where I was going wrong but I just took my time and got there in the end. 
I was very proud of myself when I seen that I had completed the car game and it was working how it should be. 

But I wasn't very proud when I moved onto part to and found myself completely lost again. I have to say the tutorials are very helpful but without them Unity is very difficult for me to wrap my head around. Don't get me wrong I found remember a few things but I did have to search up a YouTube video to help me through the rest. 
Although I looked up a video I still think it helped me learn because it thought me new things that I have not seen yet on the tutorials.

I hope that for the next challenge I will know enough and will not need to watch a video for help.

First Impressions on Class Assignments

My first impression of the class was that I really like how its run and how its graded. I like how the core assignments are split up into different parts. The makes it not boring as you have something different to do each time.  The idea of extra credit assignments really appeals to me because that means I do not have to do certain tasks I have no interest and make up the marks with extra credit. This way of learning is new to me in many ways. The first way is that the whole syllabus is already set out for me. I like that I can work on it at my own pace and even move on to the next week ahead of time. The mix and match way of grading is also new to me. First Impressions on Technology Tools and Course Websites I am very excited to that using the tools for this class. Some of them are very new to me but I am ready to learn my way around the different technology. I am sure I will become more familiar with everything as the weeks go on.  I believe many if not all of these tools will be great use to me in the future and in life after college. Almost every job involves the internet these days and it is very useful to learn what you can make and do using it.  Blogging has become a great interest to me since last semester. I enjoy writing up all my thoughts in a blog as well as reading other peoples blogs and learning new ways I can improve mine.  I am not familiar with many of the other tools but I am very excited to dive in to them.  I hope to learn more about image editing.
